About​

 

My clinical background includes work in various outpatient mental health settings supporting couples, families, and individuals. I have worked as a family therapist in a first-episode psychosis program where I provided family therapy and led a support group for parents, in refugee support services, and with teens and young adults. Prior to my work as a therapist, I was a group facilitator and trip guide in the field of experiental education and worked internationally and in wilderness settings. I bring a love of nature and adventure to my practice and believe wholeheartedly in families (especially parents) living life to the fullest! 

 

My own experiences with pregnancy, birth, and the transition to parenthood strengthened my passion for supporting families and parents. My goal is to help you move through this season with clarity, steadiness, and confidence, so you feel nurtured as you nurture your child.​

 

In our work together I utilize a compassion-focused and collaborative approach. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems / Parts Work, EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I have completed training focused on perinatal health, and am currently working towards certification through Postpartum Support International as a Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C).​
